HOW DID MYSASSYSLEEVE^® GET STARTED?

MySassySleeve^® co-founder, Margaret Omori, is a breast cancer survivor who suffers from Lymphedema, a post-surgical condition common to many breast cancer survivors.  In March, 2009, Margaret and her sister, Monica Sherman were inspired to create a fashionable cover to wear over Margaret’s Lymphedema arm bandage.  The attention-getting designs motivated the sisters to expand the sleeve concept to include breast cancer supporters who often feel helpless with their inability to share their loved one’s ordeal.
